First Posting
Hello Friends,
Thank you so very much for checking out my blog on Fireball22.com! I am so excited to get this webpage up to honor my parents and their great lives. On this blog I want share with you memories I have of my childhood as I watched my Dad race and compete on the grand stage of NASCAR's early days.
I hope to have this blog interactive, I have much to share as well as many questions I need answered...from time to time I will post images of people who I wish to know who they were, or if anyone else remembered when...
I look forward to sharing memories with you all, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
~Pam

Great to see the site up and running. Something you briefly mentioned at the Augusta reunion was about family life in the infield and the sharing that went on. I think that would make for some good reading and let folks know what it was like in the good old days.
Hi Pam,
I don't know if you will remember me; I am Lindy (Bell) Bechtloff. We were friends in junior high school. My favorite memory was of a sleepover at your house and we tried to call the Beatles in London. You were mad about Ringo and I couldn't make up my mind between John and Paul!
This past week-end we had a '68 class reunion. It was fun. I asked several people about you but no one seemed to know where you were, so I googled you. I hope you get this. I will try another couple of websites to see if I can find your email address.
I am living in Ormond Beach. I am married with 2 daughters, 23 and 25. I teach 8th grade science at OBMS. We have been back in the area for 20 years and I still see Margie Hessel and Pam Greisinger on a regular basis.
Anyway, I was just thinking about you and wondering where you were.
Email back if you want.
Lindy
My wife and I met your mother at Raymond Parks birthday party in june of 2001. A great experience. Very energetic and outgoing. Have been a big fan of your dad's as far back as I can remember. Be proud of your parents for we are and the photo of your mom and us is displayed proudly on our mantle, Jim Pace
